SIP - Sharing Inspiring People

Reading time: 1 minute

Thank you to everyone who came out last Wednesday for SIP! Check out our short recap video.

Last week Royal Cup hosted the first ever “SIP” in collaboration with REV Birmingham at Trim Tab Brewery. Over 250+ people were in attendance to experience this landmark event for Birmingham. Hosted squarely in the middle of Innovation Week the event was a great kickoff for the remainder of the week's activities.

SIP stands for sharing inspiring people and that’s exactly what we did! The event revolved around 3 primary speakers along with a short presentation on coffee from Stacy Hawkins. REV Birmingham’s Deon Gordan and Royal Cup’s CJ Britton MC’d the entire event. Trim Tab was packed throughout the majority of the night both inside the bar and out in the brewery.

SIP’s 3 primary speakers were Tanesha and Tiffany from Naughty but Nice Kettle Corn Company, Harris Stewart from Trim Tab Brewery and Scott Kappler of BAM! and 2nd and Charles. The event held a perfect mixture of networking, crowd interaction and coffee/beer breaks. Even though the event was out in the non-air conditioned brewery of Trim Tab most people stayed throughout the entirety of the event and kept cool with fresh cold brew and beer. We've uploaded some photos below we hope you enjoy! Be sure to stay tuned for the next SIP coming soon!
