How to Make a Bailey's Affogato

Reading time: 1 minute

Affogato literally translates to "drowned" in Italian. An affogato is an easy-to-make dessert that's essentially a scoop of ice cream "drowned" with a shot of hot espresso. If you were a fan of letting your ice cream melt and slurping it like soup as a child, you'll absolutely adore this dessert.

Since St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner, we thought we'd add an Irish twist -- Bailey's Cream Liqueur! If you're serving this at your St. Patty's Day party, you can even top the dessert with some green and gold sprinkles for a festive touch. Affogatos make for a wonderful tableside presentation (and they're perfect for showing off to your friends!).
