Celebrate National Iced Tea Month with an easy to make homemade Iced Tea Latte!
June 10th is National Iced Tea Day and we have to say we're pretty excited. Being from Birmingham, Alabama we're big fans of Iced Tea. Like really big fans (borderline groupies depending on who you ask)
That being said we want to continue to share some tea recipes (if you haven't checked out our simple syrup recipe take a look!) with you and show you how you make your own specialty iced tea latte at home! Why waste a trip to your local coffee shop when you can make your own with your favorite Royal Cup Tea at home in about 5 min!
Read below for ingredients and watch the movie above for how to make your own delicious Iced Tea Latte.
- 2 scoops or bags of your favorite iced tea. Tip: avoid fruity teas as it may curdle your milk
- 4 oz of milk
- 1 glass of ice
- 4 oz of your simple syrup or sweetener Tip: Check here for how to make your own simple syrup in seconds
- 12 oz of hot water (for steeping your tea)
- Shaker or blending cup Tip: if you don't have either you can always just use a cup with an airtight lid
If you haven't tried some of our famous tea at home what are you waiting for? Put your order online and have the tea you enjoy at most of your favorite restaurants, hotels and more in your kitchen!
Happy sipping and happy #nationalicedteaday
