Royal Cup’s Guide to the Perfect Thanksgiving Brew

Looking for the perfect addition to spice up your traditional Thanksgiving meal? Make everyone’s day extra special by whipping up some of our favorite coffee and tea recipes of the season. Full of comforting and festive flavors that are sure to perk up your holiday celebration.

Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam

Ingredients:

For the Pumpkin Cream:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp. pumpkin puree
  • 2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

For the Cold Brew Coffee with Cold Foam:

Directions:

For the Pumpkin Cream:

  1. Whisk together the whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla.
  2. Whisk in the pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice until smooth.
  3. Cover and place in the refrigerator until ready to use.

For the Cold Brew Coffee with Cold Foam:

  1. In a glass filled halfway with ice, add the cold brew coffee concentrate and water, stirring to combine.
  2. In a blender pulse ¼ cup of the pumpkin cream for 10-12 seconds, or until fluffy and thick.
  3. Top the iced cold brew with your pumpkin cream cold foam. Garnish with a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice. Enjoy!

Pecan Pie Coffee

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 16 oz brewed Royal Cup Coffee (Click here to purchase)
  • 1 tsp maple extract
  • ¼ cup hazelnut coffee creamer
  • Whipped cream

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, stir together chopped pecans, butter, and brown sugar. Set aside.
  2. Divide brewed coffee between two mugs.
  3. Divide maple extract and creamer between both mugs. Stir.
  4. Top mugs with whipped cream. Sprinkle sweetened pecans on top of the whipped cream. Serve immediately.

Autumn Spiced Apple Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 Royal Cup tea bags (Click here to purchase)
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 2 tsp. sugar or artificial sweetener
  • 4 apple slices

Directions:

  1. Bring water, cloves, and cinnamon sticks to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Turn off heat, add tea bags, cover, and allow to steep for 3 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags and stir in apple juice and sweetener.
  4. Turn the heat back on to low and simmer until heated through.
  5. To serve, place two apple slices in the bottom of two mugs. Pour hot tea over apples, being careful to strain out cloves and cinnamon sticks.
  6. Serve with additional cinnamon sticks in the mugs.

Hot Cranberry Tea

Ingredients:

  • 3 ½ quarts water
  • 6 ROAR Cranberry Rooibos Hot Tea (Click here to purchase)
  • 1 12-ounce package cranberries
  • 1 ½ cups white sugar
  • 2 juiced lemons
  • 2 juiced oranges
  • 12 whole cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks

Directions:

  1. Add water and cranberries to a large pot.
  2. Bring combination to a boil, and reduce heat. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. Add sugar, lemon juice, orange juice, cloves, and cinnamon sticks. Cover and steep for one hour.

**If using a slow cooker add all the ingredients and cook on low for six hours.
