We are excited to receive the Outstanding Business award from My Green Birmingham for our efforts in Sustainability.

Birmingham, Alabama - My Green Birmingham held its 3rd Annual Champions of Sustainability, presented by the City of Birmingham, on Tuesday, April 12th, at Saturn Birmingham. More than 150 guests gathered to honor a unique range of Champions of Sustainability recipients. My Green Birmingham also presented its first ever Champions of Sustainability Visionary Award to special guest, Laura Turner Seydel, an international environmental advocate and eco-living expert.

“We were thrilled to welcome Laura Turner Seydel to Birmingham,” said Natalie Kelly, President of Sustain and publisher of My Green Birmingham. “Her work exemplifies the kind of efforts and accomplishments we aim to recognize through Champions of Sustainability.”

Each year, the event honors select individuals and sustainability successes helping to shape growth and progress throughout the Birmingham area. My Green Birmingham is proud to announce the following recipients for the 3rd annual Champions of Sustainability awards.

Honorees received custom designed awards from Evolutia that were made from locally reclaimed wood.

The event, which featured a networking opportunity and honoree presentation, benefited the Green Resource Center for Alabama, an environmental nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness for sustainability-related efforts and initiatives in Alabama and throughout the Southeast.
